Before Amicai I spent a decade in software and product, watching the same pattern repeat: the people I cared about drifted not because I stopped caring, but because modern life has no infrastructure for friendship maintenance. The calendar handles work. Todoist handles tasks. Nothing holds the thought "I should check on Marcus" for the ten hours until I'm home.
Amicai is the thing I wish existed. It lives in the metadata — what you already said to whom, when, how often — and surfaces the moments you'd want to act on if you weren't busy. Not a CRM for friends. Not a replacement for conversations. A quiet memory for the relationships you chose.
