A second opinion, two ways.

Amicai shows up when you didn't ask, and answers when you do. Same intelligence, two cadences.

Unsolicited

Every morning, here's what Amicai noticed.

Daily Reflections, weekly Pulse, Monthly Review. The observations a thoughtful friend would make if they had the bandwidth — written like one, not like a dashboard.

  • "Devon mentioned an interview last week — you might want to check in."
  • "Your sister hasn't reached out in 19 days. That's the longest in a year."
  • "You and Jake have been talking less, but more deeply. Trajectory looks healthy."

A look at the Daily Reflection: the people, promises, and quiet changes worth another pass before the day moves on.

On demand

When you have a question, ask the one thing that knows your people.

The chat agent has read every text. It remembers what your sister said three weeks ago, what your friend is going through, and the patterns you keep repeating.

  • "Should I text her after that fight?"
  • "What's been hard for Mom lately?"
  • "Why does it feel like Jake and I are drifting?"

Why the second opinion is any good.

ChatGPT doesn't know your sister. A journal app doesn't know what your friend told you on Tuesday. Amicai reads your real conversations, watches the patterns, and quietly builds a model of how you show up — what people are going through, what you said you'd follow up on, where you keep dropping the ball. That's the part you can't get from a chatbot. That's what makes the second opinion actually useful.

One thoughtful action is usually all it takes.

A text Tuesday becomes coffee Friday. Coffee becomes a Sunday walk with someone you almost let drift. Amicai isn't trying to be the relationship — it's trying to start the chain.

Tuesday

Amicai surfaces a song her friend Lindsey shared. She forwards it to three people who came to mind.

Wednesday

One of them — John — replies with a similar artist. They get into a conversation neither would have started cold.

Sunday

A lunch she and John planned in passing turns into the longest catch-up they've had in years. She journals about it that night.

The cascade happens in your real life, not in the app. The metric we care about isn't time spent here — it's the call you actually made.

What Amicai will never do.

We built these rules into the system. They're not guidelines — they're in the code.

Score or rank your friendships

Reward you for opening the app
Tell you to text more
Train AI on your conversations
Sell, share, or look at your data for any reason but yours

Success isn't time spent in the app. It's the call you actually made.

From the founder

Why I'm building this.

Amicai is a Personal Memory for Relationship Intelligence.

It is my attempt to build an application around LLMs that brings us closer together instead of farther apart. A product that uses memory, context, and language not to replace human connection, but to support it.

To help people remember what matters. To understand each other more deeply. To become more thoughtful partners, friends, family members, and collaborators.

— Wylie

Built around the most private data you have.

Trust is the moat. We treat it that way.

Stored briefly, then deleted

We retain raw messages for 30 days to generate your insights, then automatically purge them. Anthropic, our AI provider, is contractually prohibited from training on your content under their standard API terms.

Your friends are referenced, not surveilled

Their words shape a model of how you show up — not a profile of them. There's no cross-user social graph. There never will be.

Mark anyone off-limits, any time

Sensitive contacts are excluded from all processing. Amicai purges every trace across 23 internal tables. Real, auditable deletion.
