Download from the canonical link
Start from this page or from Amicai’s in-app updater so the file comes from the signed manifest-backed release flow, not a third-party mirror.
Direct download. No Play Store. No tracking. The same Amicai account, backend, and relationship intelligence you get on iPhone, delivered through a signed Android build with live release notes and verification guidance.
How release access works: signed Android builds, release notes, and verification details all point back to this path. During rollout, your install email or in-app update prompt should always land on getamicai.com/android.
Why sideload
Google Play rules block the multi-messaging access Amicai needs for Android relationship intelligence. We chose full coverage, privacy, and truthful product framing over a store listing.
How updates work
Updates come from inside the Android app and from this page. The app checks the signed manifest and points back to canonical release notes here.
Privacy
Your Android data goes to your private Amicai account. It is encrypted, never used to train AI, and you can delete it from Amicai settings.
This is the direct-download path Amicai should keep using across public marketing, authenticated onboarding, and in-app update flows.
Prompt order varies slightly by Android version and browser. These visual panels show the screens to look for.

Allow from this source
Chrome can install Amicai
Android usually asks the first time your browser installs an APK. Grant the one-time permission, then jump back to the installer.
Install Amicai?
After the file downloads, tap it from your browser or downloads tray and let the package installer show the normal install confirmation.
Send app for security check
Google may scan new or sensitive sideloaded apps.
Google Play Protect scans apps installed outside Play. “Send app for security check” or a warning about an unverified app is normal for a signed direct-download build.
Use the same Amicai account you created on the web. Future Android updates come from the in-app updater and the same canonical release flow linked from this page.
Play Protect note
Google’s current guidance is that Play Protect scans apps from other sources too. If Android offers to send Amicai for a security check, let it scan. We do not ask users to disable Play Protect.
If a prompt looks harsher than the preview above, stop and compare the published fingerprint on this page before continuing. If anything still feels off, email the founder directly before installing.
What can vary
Browser wording
Chrome, Files, Samsung Internet, and Pixel downloads screens label the one-time install permission differently.
Security scan timing
Some devices show a quick “send for security check” step before install, while others scan after download or after the first open.
Permission follow-up
After sign-in, Amicai still asks for the message and notification permissions it needs. Those prompts are inside the app, not the installer.
Trust and privacy
Amicai on Android needs access patterns that mainstream store rules do not allow for a relationship-intelligence app. Direct distribution lets us keep the product honest: full messaging coverage, no fake “store-safe” version, and no vague promises about features that would disappear after install.
Sideload does not mean “less private.” It means the install goes from your device to your Amicai account directly. Your data is encrypted, never used to train AI, and deletable from Amicai settings.
Privacy rule still holds: Amicai processes message text and URLs only. Attachments are represented as [Media shared - content not stored for privacy].
Canonical Android endpoints
`getamicai.com/android`
Human-facing install hub: download guidance, trust framing, privacy summary, verification instructions.
`getamicai.com/android/manifest.json`
Machine-facing update manifest used by the Android app. Public, but not the place to send humans first.
`getamicai.com/android/releases/<version>`
Human-readable release notes for each shipped Android build. Link back here for install and verification context.
Verification
The Android app tells users to compare the app fingerprint in Settings > About with the value published on this site before granting message permissions.
This page is where the current release fingerprint belongs. Publish it here alongside each signed release so users never need to hunt across multiple properties.
Current public release fingerprint
Live manifest-backed value
This value comes from the same hosted manifest that powers in-app updates and the stable Android download link.
Founder note
Wylie Brown
Founder, builder, and first person answering Android install issues
This Android install path is not a growth hack. It exists because the honest version of Amicai needs capabilities the Play Store does not currently allow. If anything about the install flow feels off, assume it is worth fixing and tell us.
Same app as iPhone
Android is not a cut-down fork. It talks to the same backend, uses the same private Amicai account, and ships the same core relationship-intelligence product as iPhone.
Android proof
This is the same Android product line already proven through onboarding and post-onboarding UI validation, not a waitlist pretending to be a launch page.
